In California, the concept of “Hit and Run” is invoked not only in accidents between automobiles, but also accidents between:
• A car and another moving motor vehicle (e.g. truck)
• A car and a bicycle
• A car and a pedestrian
• A moving vehicle and a parked or unoccupied motor vehicle
